I dont know what to do, this guy im dating for the past two weeks wants to break up, so he can fool around....?

My "boyfriend" i guess i could call him is going on vaction for a month and wants to break up because he says he doesnt want to do something stupid while on vaction that could hurt me. i told him to just control his 19 year old self! ANother factor is that he just got out of a two year seriosu relationship a month ago. first i felt like he reallys likes me but now i think i was hid rebound and he wants to go and fool around with all the girls hes going to see while on vacay. he said its my option if i want to break up but he says that he never wants to lose me in his life and he relaly has a lot of feelings for me but just cant be in a relationship right now but definatly wants to pick things up where we letf off when he comes back in a month. i realy like him alot too, but i dont like the ways hes going around this issue. i wonder why we couldnt have just stayed together? Guys, wnat me to help me understand this a little bit better???
