How do I really remove people from a yahoo group.?

I am a moderator and need to remove people from the group but can't find a way to do it. The current answers on this site suggest clicking a box in the members list - but there isn't one, or clicking on Edit Membership and clicking on ban or remove member - except that these options do not appear anywhere. Has anyone ever done it or is my group different?
